Receiver’s Pending Motion For Approval Of Various Settlements
The Court recently granted preliminary approval of the motion filed jointly by the Receiver and Investor Plaintiffs regarding their settlement with Paul Wassgren and law firms DLA Piper and Fox Rothschild. (Doc. 787) This approval also pertained to various settlements reached with a number of sales agents and various bar orders related to these settlements. (Doc. 788) Pursuant to the Court’s Orders, the Receiver was ordered to mail a legal notice regarding the Court’s handling of the motion to all interested parties. You can read the full notice here. Please note the requirements for objecting to the relief sought.

Court Grants Receiver’s Motion to Approve the Claims Process
To make the process of submitting a claim less burdensome for investors, Omni Agent Solutions will be generating and directly mailing Proof of Claim Forms to each known investor. Omni will also include Claims Process Instructions in the form. However, the investor must still complete and sign the Proof of Claim Form under penalty of perjury and return it to Omni before the Claims Bar Date, which has not yet been determined. An announcement will be added to the website once Omni mails the forms.

Settlement Conference
The Receiver did not participate in the Settlement Conference (at Mr. Rybicki’s request). According to the Court’s entry [doc 341], the mediation lasted 6.5 hours and the Court is continuing the mediation.
